How AESUB Transparent Works

AESUB Transparent reduces reflections and gives a clear matte surface without hiding the original color and texture of the object, so color details are still visible during 3D scanning.

Why Use AESUB Transparent?

The transparent coating reduces reflections and glare from shiny, dark, or reflective surfaces. This gives 3D scanners a more uniform surface to capture, improving data quality and accuracy.

After scanning, the coating sublimates—it transitions directly from solid to gas—leaving no residue behind. No cleaning, washing, or surface treatment is required.

Helps to Scan Difficult Surfaces

Shiny / Reflective

Challenge: Polished metal, mirrors, chrome, and glossy plastics reflect light away from the 3D scanner instead of back to it.

Result: Holes, noise, or missing data.

After Spray: Spray creates a matte, diffuse surface so that light reflects evenly back to the scanner.

Dark / Black

Challenge: Dark materials absorb most of the light.

Result: Weak or incomplete scans.

After Spray: Light-colored coating reflects more light for a more complete and even scan data.

Clear / Translucent

Challenge: Glass, clear plastic let light pass through or bend it.
